Eric and Erin Wed on Mar 20, 2026

This tree shown above is an "upside-down" family tree (usually the grandparents are at the top and children flow below). So, to start this documentary, I've begun with the "present" starting with our newest couple, Eric & Erin, officially wed in Orlando, Florida on Friday, March 20th, 2026. This is their family.

Documenting a family tree is by no means easy. It bifurcates in fifteen different ways, and with today's privacy needs, posting modern birthdays and surnames needs to be more sensitive than it has in the past decade -- but I'll try to do this justice. I've organized the tree into the following tabs, as listed below.

  • Eric's mom, Amanda, was born into a family with three siblings in southern town in Massachetts. She also had a daughter Lexi, which I'll post info on the Williams Family tab. Amanda's dad is from New Jersey, surname Barrico.
  • Eric's dad, Pat Esty, was born into a family with one sibling (and a half-brother and sister) who grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His Aunt Jane has a small family, which is documented on The Esty's tab along with grandparents and older.

  • In the image right is Eric's mom, Amanda standing on the far right. Dad is on the far left (see Esty's tab). Her family is of Lebanese/Yemen descent, making Eric 1/8th middle-eastern, and the 1/8th of the Europeon kind with the Barrico surname. More pictures to come.

The Lee's

  • Eric's grandmother Sukja on dad's side is from South Korea, so he is a son of a half korean making him 1/4th. The other 1/4th of him on the dad's side is someone of Scottish descent (some German/Hungarian/English), or let's say European. Picture pending.

The Porter's

Erin is the daughter of Jay (far left) and Jen (far right) shown in the picture, right. Of european descent, she grew up with five siblings described below. Eric met Erin in high school so are of the same age, who both met and graduated from South Lake High School, Florida -- which is about an hour due west of downtown Orlando.

  • In this image, in order left to right are: Rowan, Gaia, [Eric, Erin], Ceridwen, and Keenan (who's dad not pictured is Chris), are her younger brothers and sisters she grew up with on the edge of Minneola, Florida. Not pictured is her older half brother named Austin.
